Ngatuhoa Lodge has served schools, youth groups, families, and the wider community for over 60 years. Now we need your help to secure its future.
Our current lodge facilities are aging and in urgent need of renewal. We are working toward a major rebuild so Ngatuhoa can continue providing outdoor education, leadership, confidence-building, and community experiences for decades to come.
Ngatuhoa Lodge is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit outdoor education facility located in the Kaimai Mamaku ranges. The lodge is used by schools, community groups, youth organisations, and families who rely on Ngatuhoa as an affordable, accessible outdoor learning environment.
Modern, code-compliant facilities that meet today's standards for warmth, safety, and accessibility.
Better kitchen, dining, and gathering spaces for larger groups and school camps.
Purpose-built facilities designed around the needs of school camps and structured outdoor learning programmes.
A lodge that can serve the next generation of students, families, and community groups for decades to come.
We have already secured significant support, but we still need help from the wider Ngatuhoa community to reach the total required.
Your donation will go directly toward the rebuild project, including construction, materials, fit-out, and essential infrastructure. Every contribution — large or small — makes a difference.
One-off donations of any size are greatly appreciated. Select an amount below, or enter your own.

Many funders require community support, letters of support, or evidence that Ngatuhoa is widely valued. Here is how you can help beyond a financial contribution.
If your school has benefited from camps at Ngatuhoa, we would be incredibly grateful if you would consider supporting the rebuild through a small fundraiser, donation, or letter of support.
Even simple fundraising ideas can make a real difference. Schools that raise funds for the rebuild will be recognised in the new lodge.
