Team Vision

We seek to provide a unique opportunity for people to appreciate the beauty of the Aotearoa, New Zealand ngahere, wildlife and the local history of the area.

We want to nurture in our population a love and understanding of nature and its conservation, and to provide the setting, facilities and equipment that will foster bush-craft, outdoor pursuits and integrated studies. We aim to improve the health and wellbeing of our community through supporting the development of personal and social skills for young people in an outdoor setting, while we manage and maintain the natural environment within the Department of Conservation (DOC) lease area.
